Sodette is a sweet girl who had a rough start in life. She grew up living outside with a lot of other dogs, and she didn’t get to experience basic things that most dogs do. When Sodette first arrived she had to be trained on a leash, and this smart girl went from not knowing what the leash was to walking beautifully in just a week! Sodette is still slowly learning about basic comforts such as a warm place to sleep, a nice cozy bed, and yummy treats (which she loves!). She may seem pretty aloof when she first meets you, but after you spend some time with her she does appreciate and seek attention. She remembers those she trusts and will look to them for guidance if she is nervous. Sodette is great with other dogs and would love to have another confident dog in her future home who can help show her the ropes. While she doesn’t prefer to play with dogs, she does enjoy their company. Sodette’s future family should be one with a lot of patience to show this girl all the things she missed out on, and one with German Shepherd experience is preferred.
