Moving can be a hectic, stressful process, especially if new accommodations have not been found yet, or if the new place does not allow animals. Many pet owners are forced to say goodbye when moving is unavoidable, and if a new home cannot be found for the pets, they are brought to the shelter. Unfortunately for Sally and her brother, they were left behind when their owner moved out.
Now at ACSKC, Sally’s taken her time adjusting to the new environment. Soft, sweet, and undeniably stunning, Sally loves to lay on her back in the comfort of her kennel. She happily receives pets and head scratches, and has a penchant for wand toys. While a little on the shy side, she won’t turn down the chance to rub up on you.
This black and white cat with the pretty pink nose is about two years old. It’s easy to imagine her getting whisked away somewhere she’ll be cherished and pampered like a princess. Though Sally came to the shelter with a brother, her dream home may be one where she is the only cat getting the royal treatment.
If you want to offer the stability Sally needs, head to kenthumane.org to submit an application. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the Animal Care Shelter for Kent County is open by appointment only. Once your application is approved, we will set up an appointment with you!
