Meet Icess!

Icess has only been at The Humane Society of Kent County for a few weeks.  However, every night spent in the shelter is traumatizing for a dog that once lived in a happy home.  This is the case for this sugar-sweet 4 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix.  Icess was raised in a home with little kids running around, kittens, and even other dogs.  She is accustomed to a busy home.

Icess is a “wiggle-butt”.  She gets the wiggles every time she gets excited.  She has the ability to be super playful when outside, yet super chill when inside. She is cool, calm, and clean when she is in her kennel.  Icess is obedient and has good leash manners.

The sooner Icess is adopted, the easier her transition back into a home will be.  Dogs living in a kennel in a shelter tend to deteriorate quickly, despite the efforts of the staff and volunteers.  If you are considering rescuing a dog, please come meet Icess at The Humane Society of Kent County today!
