There are certain larger breed dogs that don’t hang around shelters for long. Huskies, Shepherds, and Labs all tend to be popular and have a quicker adoption rate. So why is it that The Humane Society of Kent County has been unable to find a home for 7 yr. old Nemo? This black lab has sadly been waiting almost 9 months for a forever home.
Nemo is big, strong, and handsome. Like most labs, he loves the outdoors. He is happiest when he is taking a nice long walk with you or playing fetch in the yard. He tends to appear a bit serious, but don’t let that fool you. He definitely has a goofy side and will run zoomies around you just to make you laugh. He is smart, obedient, and easy to train because he LOVES treats and will do almost ANYTHING to get them!
Nemo needs to be the only dog in the home. He does not enjoy the company of other dogs or cats. He just wants to be with a special person (or family) that will love him. Nemo is 100% housebroken. He is neutered, current on shots, microchipped, and ready to go home today!
Like all animals 7yrs of age and older, Nemo has a reduced adoption fee. Please come meet this loyal lab today!
