First impressions can be deceiving…. Your first impression of 5 year old Esau is most likely going to be based on his size. He is a BIG boy indeed! And bigger dogs can be intimidating to some people. But look again…. If you dig a little deeper, you’ll find that Esau is quite the opposite of intimidating. In fact, he is rather timid, quiet, and shy.
Esau has had the opportunity to be fostered by one of the dedicated volunteers at the HSKC shelter. The mission was to relieve Esau of some of the kennel stress that he was experiencing, and help prep him for his forever home. And it’s been amazing!
Esau is housebroken. He gets along great with other dogs. He loves to take naps in the sun and rides in the car. But most of all, Esau has learned that being loved by humans is the best feeling ever! If you are experienced in handling larger breed dogs and would like to set up a time to meet Esau, please call The Humane Society of Kent County today!
The HSKC Shelter is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays through Saturdays 11am to 4pm, and adoption applications can be filled out online ahead of time at www.kenthumane.org to speed the process.
