Eric is a 2 year old grey and white domestic shorthair. He was brought in to the Humane Society of Kent County at the beginning of June. He had wandered onto someone’s property, and although they liked him a lot, they just couldn’t keep him. But they knew that the HSKC staff could find him a great home!
Right off the bat, the shelter staff learned that Eric is very patient. He had to spend his first few days in a smaller kennel in an isolated room. He was always calm and easy-going, and kept his kennel clean. After 8 days, Eric had not been claimed, so he was moved to the adoption room.
Once Eric was given freedom to roam a bit, his true personality began to blossom. He loves to mingle with the other cats and is able to live in a colony kennel. He always seems to be the life of the party! He equally balances his time between his cat buddies and people, and is never opposed to a little scratching or petting…or a noontime nap. Handsome Eric could easily be incorporated into almost any family – please come out and meet him today!
The HSKC Shelter is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays through Saturdays 11am to 4pm, and adoption applications can be filled out online ahead of time at www.kenthumane.org to speed the process.
