Barn Cats

The wild-child of the cat set. They have been helping to protect our grain and feed stores since around 7,500 BC. And they’re not just limited to barns, here in Kent County we even have a few in airplane hangars, chicken coops (she likes to sleep with them), and a friend-of-the-Alpacas cat.

Upon making the decision to retire this past summer, I completed the paperwork to become a “foster parent” for the Humane Society of Kent County. Shortly after I received a call asking if I would foster an expectant mother.
